My Teaching Experience

TEACHING

Teaching at MMSU College of Elementary School Teacher Education Laboratory. before teaching I had prepared learning plans and teaching materials to be taught later and there using the K12 curriculum.

    The Kindergarten Curriculum Framework

The Kindergarten Curriculum Framework (KCF) draws from the goals of the K to 12 Philippine Basic Education Curriculum Framework and adopts the general principles of the National Early Learning Framework (NELF). Kindergarten learners need to have a smooth transition to the content- based curriculum of Grades 1 to 12.
The items in rectangles in Figure 1 show the theoretical bases for teaching-learning in the early years, which are founded on constructivism, integrative, thematic, collaborative, inquiry-based, and reflective teaching in play-based approaches with application of the Developmentally Appropriate Practices (DAP); these support the principles of child growth and development, and the learning program development and assessment.
The circles, on the other hand, signify the system of how Kindergarten Education is to be employed. The interlocked ellipses represent the learning domains that have to be nurtured and equally imparted to holistically develop children. It also forms a flower that portrays the gradual unfolding but steady development, as is expected of every child. The child is seen as being in the process of blossoming – like a flower bud whose development should not be forced lest it loses its chance to fully mature. The domains are enclosed by the Learning Areas children will meet in Grade One onward, for which they are being prepared. The outermost layer indicates the Curricular Themes upon which the Kindergarten Curriculum Guide (KCG) or the Teacher’s Guide is designed. It has been crafted using the thematic or integrative approach to curriculum development in a spiraling learning process. This approach employs integrative and interactive teaching-learning strategies as well as child-centered learning experiences.
This is a very extraordinary experience for me to be able to teach here using English. here I get a good tutor and is not reluctant to share his knowledge with me, the name is teacher Jho Mar A Factor. and also there I also there I got a friend of mine together practice there who came from their MMSU named Vivan, April, Anji, and Hazel. those who often help me if I experience distress and we often share knowledge, experience, culture, and language.

Before learning begins, children usually play with friends until 8:00 a.m. right at 08.00 the learning began at the beginning of the learning of the children standing in the class then praying, singing the national song "Lupang Hinirang", taking an oath, singing Mars MMSU and Hymne, checking attendance singing about weather and gymnastics. after that, the child returns to their respective pursuits to begin the core lesson. in core learning, I have to explain in detail the theme that I got by the tutor teacher. I am happy that the children are very active and smart when I ask them something, but I have to be patient with them. The children cannot be quiet. They must be noisy. Someone disturbs his friend. I have to do how the children pay attention to me. the blackboard, if a boy is naughty then I erase the star with that the children can be silent.

at 9:30 a.m. children take a break before putting on snacks that have been prepared from their school to read the prayer first, the school usually gives, fried rice noodles, spaghetti, macaroni etc. This is done so that children do not carry junk food. after everything is finished eating children sleep a few minutes. then the children play and continue learning that has not been completed before. after the children finished praying, the children were called one by one to go home.
